Born in Blackness - Born in LOVE , is the title under which my work has been developed and presented. My work addresses African and African Diaspora history and culture, specifically my culture—Louisiana's African American culture. I create from a historical lens, thoroughly researched and studied, and from a deeply personal perspective that is therefore fallible. I will present five full-length works by Tekrema Dance Theatre. We have work to do, and we warmly invite you to
